:monster: Happy 20th Birthday FF V!

20 years ago today, the game we know and love, Final Fantasy V was released. Twenty years ago, we were greeted by Bartz and his crew to save the world from the crystals mysteriously shattering. Exdeath was trying to rule the world and on this day, this day was the day we stopped him. (or started to at least)

Happy birthday to Final Fantasy V! Thanks for making our childhoods that much more entertaining! When did you first play FFV? Have you not yet? WHY NOT! What was your favorite part? Join us in celebrating this game's birthday.

Gosh, one of the best games of all time is 20 years already? Time sure flies. :O_O: Now I wish my GBA cartridge of the game wasn't broken. It keeps corrupting my save data. -_- Very annoying when you're doing a full-bestiary run and are at world 2 already. Oh well, still one of the greatest (and most underrated) entries of the series! It had everything right: music, graphics, gameplay and story. I love Final Fantasy V! Everybody who doesn't is a smurf and must change his/her opinion until he/she does love it!

I have it and tried playing it, but I didn't like it. Maybe I should give it another go!

FFV has always been one of the stronger entries in the series. Way to go, FFV!

Happy Birthday Final Fantasy V! I hope Bartz and Boko are eating lots of cake and ice cream (if their world happens to have some)!

Final Fantasy V is one of the truly underappreciated titles. Big fan of the Let's Play of the modded version!

    My favorite!

A light-hearted romp in the world of Final Fantasy with a job system that micro-management addicted people like myself can enjoy over and over again.

I was going through an RPG dry spell for the last few months. I wanted something new, but incredibly challenging. I downloaded a Hard patch of FFV, and I wonder why I never gave it the chance it deserved until now.

    You should!

I like FFV an awful lot, which I found surprising as I don't think my first impression was overwhelmingly positive. I first played it in about 2003/4, on the PlayStation. I'd just played CT and FFVI, and so judged it against those very high standards. However the more I got into it, the more I began to appreciate what a revolutionary and very well put together game it is. I loved the class system and the rather quirky humour (a cross dressing pirate!). I keep meaning to play it again as it's been a couple of years since my last playthrough. I might give the GBA version a whirl.

The first time I tried playing it was... 2 or 3 years after I joined EoFF

    Replaying it right now

    :monster:

Happy birthday to a severely underrated entry in the Final Fantasy series, and one of only two games in the series where I actually bothered levelling all my characters up to 99 and doing everything there is to do in the game.

The best iteration of the job system and Elpizo you can still play V advance on an emulator.

I really wish that they'd make an online multiplayer mode for this game or a new game that uses the same system.

Yeah, I know, but it doesn't have the same kind of charm as playing it as it was meant to on a GBA/DS, you know? Mayhaps I'm just old fashioned.
