It has come to my attention that the idea of a guilty pleasure is outmoded and rubbish. There are no guilty pleasures, only things that you do and do not like. If you like something, but are ashamed of it, that does not mean you have a guilty pleasure, it means you are an idiot.
We're living in a world where grown-ass adults openly laud Harry Potter, a series of children's books. Those of you of legal drinking age who sensibly do not give a rodent's hindquarter's about HP or any other children's entertainment most likely do not think any less of those who display the poor taste of approving of it on account of the fact that if you did, you would be depriving yourself of the company of scores of otherwise sensible individuals. Why, then, would you feel shame in enjoying...really...anything.
It's time to shed all of that incondign shame. What you like, you like. It's part of you. Stop pretending and start behaving like sane human beings.
