Very interesting, somehow I can personally relate myself to Vivi, in terms of facing fears that is. I think that everyone can relate themselves to him and thus, he greatly deserves the Best Character Ciddie no doubt. By the way, Vivi is so adorable in a Black Mage outfit!

Reading this took me back through my memories of FFIX and it reminds me why I think Vivi is a great character. His search for meaning in his identity and his existence are great themes that a lot of players can relate to, and it definitely shows how video games aren't just "mindless nonsense". There's philosophical intrigue that adds great value to the story.

If you make spotlights on more characters in the future I would certainly enjoy reading them!

I actually really enjoyed writing this, it's short because my memories of FFIX aren't that great, however I'm actually just on another play through again! So all my knowledge came from the very vague memory I had of it! So I don't think I was very thorough

I would LOVE to write some more of these every once in a while, it's great to be able to write about characters like this and remind ourselves why it is we fall so in love with them when we play these games!

I loved vivi, in fact my first sig and avatar set was vivi I loved the way they tackled his existence issues. It was tactful. If square got anything right, they got vivi down perfectly.
