Personal opinion: I just want to stress that this is definitely something to go for if you want to join the EoFF staff. With editors becoming more prominent in EoFF's future and the new merged staff, it's less and less likely that we'll be getting new Cid's Knights as often in the future as we have done in the past. We often hired Cid's Knights despite not having any real problems with moderation. This was purely in the interest in getting fresh faces and opinions in the staff forum, but now that we get so many fresh faces through the editor team I (personally) get the impression that we'll not be hiring new forums staff as often. What we do need to keep EoFF growing are a lot of great members and a strong editor team.
The editors we have hired in recent months have done an outstanding job in pushing themselves for the frontsite but we want to grow and they are already doing more than a fair amount of work between them. We need a lot more members of staff in order to truly develop EoFF into the site that we want it to be. The goals we have are ambitious but as an individual you shouldn't be asked to do any more than a fair amount of work to retain your title, and you will gain a massive number of what many of you might see as perks. Being able to help manage the site, the community, the chatroom and the future of all three. Perhaps you'll end up communicating with Square-Enix directly in time, who knows?
EoFF is definitely on the rise and this is your time to become one of the major players over the coming months and years. I hope the best of you apply and give it your best if you get accepted!
