MY TURN TO STEP IN.

I grew up on a ranch but we had a horse ranch not cattle. We did have several friends who had 50,000 acres of land each. They had cattle. We had horses, they had the cows. DO THE MATH. The terrain was so rough that when they needed to brand/castrate the youngins, they couldn't just hop in a truck and go get them. No we had to go on horseback. It would be rolling prairies and then rugged hills and cliffs.

When most people think of cowboys and rolling plains, that place is Wyoming. I lived about 2 hours form Deadwood.

If you know anythign about Deadwood it's from that HBO show.

Speaking of Buffalo, I had to drive 40 miles to get to school and the road I had to take to get the highway, right between a buffalo ranch. Think of thousands of buffalo! I saw them everyday!

Of course what most people think of cowboys is dated. They use technology and what not. Heck I was 14 and EoFFing on dial up. My internet sucked but I was still doing so! If you want cowboys that's where you'll have to go to find them. Or Montana Montana has them too. But Wyoming isn't dubbed as the "cowboy state" for nothing!

So EoFF, i'm the closest thing you'll get to a cowboy. I grew up on a ranch. I know how to ride both in a saddle and bareback, I know how to rope (badly but I can do it) and I used to dabble in barrel racing! I do need some new boots though.... Then I thought I was too cool for it and start playing video games and welp, look where that's gotten me heh. My parents still have a ranch just it's now in oklahoma. It's no Wyoming though.

Actually, I googled it and found the buffalo ranch! I know exactly where this photo was taken too!

Yehaww EoFF, Yeeehaw....
