Indeed, and I don't think it's an unpopular thing over here in the UK either. No excuse.
I know that it is "for sale" over here but... I have never met a single person in the UK who has purchased peanut butter.
It isn't on my list of priorities to try either...

Either they have and simply haven't advertised that fact to you, or the UK is truly a miserable place.
I understand there's different cultures everywhere, but the idea of someone viewing peanut butter as this bizarre, exotic delicacy from some foreign land still sounds ludicrous to my brain.
It's like if we freaked out over tea. "You mean they dry some weed, crush it, poor hot water over it, and drink that?
I've had tea enough. It's certainly not as big here as there, and I know people that have never enjoyed a cup of hot tea. Still, it's smurfing TEA!
