I have seen a lot of people with this impression of Aerith. Fortunately, there are fan works that portray her as just as much of an action girl as Tifa. Here are some examples:

Despite the fact that she is considered as a supportive character, these portrayals do not show her as out of character -- she does not lose her femininity or her personality by being a little tougher in action scenes rather than a simple healer.

I refuse to acknowledge Advent Children characters, because it was utter pants. Should be kept to the original game, with maybe an exception for crisis core but that's about it.

It would be nice of materical would be in the game and let you customize characters in certain ways. Not necessarily in as great detail as FF7 let you, but you could be able to equip a limited number of them to gain certain attacks or effects.
The effects shouldn't be game-breaking I guess, but they should be noticable. For example, you could have Restore materia which would make you regenerate health a tiny bit faster when the character was swapped out in tag battles, or vitality plus to gain a tiny bit more defence, or hp plus to gain a tiny bit more health.
I also want all limit breaks to return in one form or another, either as a bit more difficult to execute combo finishers, or as gauge-using supers or mini-supers.
I really want satellite beam and finishing touch as well, for example, in addition to their lv4 limits.

Yeah I think it would be a bit impractical to have them have all their limit breaks as supers, but could probably be spaced out over normal specials and super moves. Cloud's Cross slash, for example, could be something like Fei Long's Rekka-Ken three part move, and Climhazzard could be like a Shoryuken style thing and so on. And then Omnislash could be a three bar super or something. although I do think this is all probably far past our reach of actually creating, but it's fun to imagine it anyway

I agree that we totally need Big Bro. And cloud's wall market dress totally needs to be unlockable. In fact, all outfits seen used by characters in all the games and in AC should probably be unlockable, as well as a few original designs just for the new game.
How do you guys feel about being able to change between weapons? Visual change only, or should weapons have additional effects attached to them? I know I've always had a lot of fun in Soul Calibur with unlocking powerful weapons and customizing things there.
