Eyes on Final Fantasy Cosplay - Terra Branford

Welcome to the first edition of Eyes on Final Fantasy Cosplay. Every 2nd Saturday this article will gather together some of the finest, most daring, most inspired or most colourful cosplays of a beloved Final Fantasy character.
Each time you'll get to vote on who you think is the best cosplayer of the bunch and we'll do our best to try and get an interview with them for you.

For our first edition, we will be looking at one of the most popular Final Fantasy females and arguably the first female protagonist of a numbered title in the franchise earning her the right to represent Final Fantasy VI in the Dissidia series. Yes, if the big image and artwork haven't already given it away, it's Terra Branford!
Whether going for her Final Fantasy VI appearance or her Dissidia appearance, Terra's outfit consisting of a red leotard, purple sash, red boots and gloves is an immediately eye-catching look.
However, as fans of the character know, Terra starts out as a confused young woman often questioning her emotions, or apparent lack thereof. Early on she is easily confused and frightened but eventually becomes more assertive and determined. Ultimately though, she is brave and willing to fight to make the world a better place. This is something worth bearing in mind when looking at the cosplays below!
Constantine goes for the Dissidia variation of Terra, looking rather pensive on that rock.
It's worth pointing out the attention to detail here on the cloak and the finer parts of Terra's leotard.
Madoka-Swan goes for the original Amano concept art design with her costume.
Just look at all those flowers!
Gilraen goes for the more traditional FFVI look with the trademark mint green hair.

Liliana keeps us on the theme of the classic Terra design with her costume.
Just look at the internal anguish reflected in those eyes!
Relterra continues leading us on this charge - is she looking up to the sky in a moment of brief contemplation, or is she about to unleash a Magitek Elite skill?

Kapalaka rounds us off for this edition with her elegant interpretation of Terra's sprite and art. Red Leotard? Check. Purple Shoulder Pads? Check.
