    Default unused weapons.

    Title says it all:

What weapons did you personally flat out have no use for? The Sky Render/Mutsunokami was the only katana I really used in the World of Ruin. Scimitar/Zantetsuken was just...better. Blood Sword and Soul Sabre weren't ever equipped. Sabin's Poison Claw served no purpose with the Fire Knuckles being viable until the World of Ruin. Never bothered with the Rainbow Brush or Angel's Brush either since the Magus Rod is light years better.

You know, I don't think I ever purposely neglected a piece of equipment in the game. I may say the Imp gear but I still like to play with an Imp party from time to time and in the GBA version, I always use it in the Leviathan fight. Maybe the Blood Sword and Soul Sabre because their isn't much use for them due to game mechanics and I probably never used the Ogrenyx or whatever its called because it breaks and a pain to acquire.

I can't imagine Leviathan being killable without the imp gear. He hits hard.

Not being turned into an Imp, just putting Reed Cloaks on everyone for the secondary water absorption effect.

I could never figure out what the Bone Club was for. Umaro has one permanently equipped, but you can also get one from fighting at the Coliseum that is utterly useless, as far as I know.

iirc you can't equip that with a Merit Award either. I tried giving Umaro a Genji Glove to see if it would automatically get equipped in his off-hand and it did not. Completely pointless!

Too many since the game is based on learning magic. It depends if you prefer to fight with the blade more often than waving your hands.

The enemies from when you first get to Vector on through the end of the Magitek Facility don't respond well to weapon strikes. Mostly, they just have Protect status, which means they have half damage from physical attacks, but the Onion Knights will actually blow up if you hit them too many times, or sometimes just cuz you looked at them wrong.

Additionally, on Mt. Zozo (in an evade-fixed game), the enemies have unreal evade, so you either have to resort to magic or use some unblockable attacks.
