It's true, there are an absolute buttload of unexpectedly attractive people at EoFF. I suppose when you get hundreds of young people together in one place, though, it's inevitable. Just goes a long way towards busting the theory of nerds being ugly, as Laddy rightly pointed out.

It's just because the people who actually look good are more prone to putting pictures of themselves in the Picture Thread, which makes it seem like a disproportionate number of people here are good looking.
That, or we all have low standards because we're pasty white nerds.

Any on topic trailing through the picture thread has left me in agreement.
a) I think Steve's Eyebrows are a delight
b) if I know grainy webcam images like i think i do, I can pretty much say HoofHearted is probably ok looking,
c) If Julian ever catches that fella who keeps glueing his gob shut before every picture i think he'll be a decent lookin fella (primne suspect is that androgynous looking fellow that shows up frequwntly in every picture with him)
d) smurfing cats everywhere
e) pensive webcam shots by our male members certainly bring out the Russell Crowe in them all, beards help but are not a necessity, a hand on or near the face certainly adds to the masculine-but-sensitive look as well.. It shows the Nerdette that "Yes I will blast one up your wrongun but I'l rub cream on it after n give you hugs".
f) Alice standing on one leg pointing at trout seems to be popular amonst the nerdherd, it's a trick that's lost on me but i guess it works so who am i to question
g) if Mel's close up face shots get any closer the only thing we're likely to see is a green goblin hugging a nose hair. Pan out Mel, no needs to be that close to anything.
