No it's more of you have a choice of where you go and when. So you can either get her right away after you leave the citadel or you can wait to get her very last.

Yes, but the quest to get her unlocks with two other story missions, I am curious that after those three missions, does the game unlock the last set of missions? Ignore all the side missions you can do in between all this. I'm just trying to gauge how many "main story missions" there are.

Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
Just look it up on the Mass Effect wiki.

After you complete two of the three main missions, virmire unlocks. You could actually completely miss one. You need liara though to get to the conduit. Then you go back to the citadel then you go to the conduit and yeah then you're near the end.
Finished Mass Effect 1, moving onto Mass Effect 2.

Incendiary Ammo is your friend.
I am terribly disappointed that Mass Effect 2 does not accept my Mass Effect 1 save at all... The whole point of getting the trilogy was getting the "full Mass Effect experience" and apparently Bioware and EA couldn't be bothered to make a fully compatible MA 1 and 2 for PS3. I am pretty pissed off about this...

What?? That's messed up. Kind of turns me off from buying the trilogy now. Having played ME2 and ME3 I was going to enjoy actually taking a character through the entire series but this just ruins it.

I don't know what WK's problem is but I was able to take my Shepard from ME1 all the way to ME3.
Psy, you own the X-Box version, this is the PS3 version...

Okay, time to retract my earlier statement, it turns out you can import data from the first game but it helps if you actually download the updates and patches for ME2 first. My Wi-Fi sucks so only half my place gets a constant signal and unfortunately the room that has my HDTV and PS3 gets next to no signal so I didn't download the patches until I realize that might be the issue. So it looks like everything is fine again and Mass Effect Trilogy is back in my good graces.
Time to start Mass Effect 2!

Oh good! And yeah this was all about the PS3 version since ME1 wasn't originally released for it.

It's such a good series for the whole character experience. Being able to have that one guy go through where all your choices affect things. so I'm very glad the ps3 doesnt have an import problem. I've been recommending it a lot to people at work.
God dangit!
Played some Mass Effect 2 last night, and completed Miranda's loyalty mission - no problem!
Get back to the Normandy and she and Jack are kicking up some fuss so I had to go and sort it out. I only had two options - side with Jack or side with Miranda. I chose Jack - now Miranda hates me and won't even speak to me. >.<
I need to get her loyalty back otherwise we're all just gonna die when we go fight the Collectors. Goddamn you Miranda!
