ME2: Grunt & Miranda (and sometimes Garrus/Jacob)
ME3: Ashley & EDI/Vega depending on who I'm fighting (and sometimes Garrus/Jack/my tears over the lack of a Krogan squad member)

Basically I'm all about the soldiers for the most part.
