I have been here a lot longer than many of the Staff, and I wasn't even aware of this "special forum".

Yeah, we used to have trouble with members who would spam to up their post counts (because that used to be a big deal back in the late '90s, early '00s). I think they were removed sometime in 2002 or 2003. That lasted until... fairly recently, I think. 2010? I always wondered if my post whoring was part of the reason post counts were removed.
I like the post counts being displayed, personally. And here's one more to that tally!
