So this is sitting untouched and uninstalled in my Steam library. I figure I probably picked it up in a Square Enix bundle during one of the many sales. Has anyone played it? Would you recommend it?

So this is sitting untouched and uninstalled in my Steam library. I figure I probably picked it up in a Square Enix bundle during one of the many sales. Has anyone played it? Would you recommend it?
I thought the concepts that they played with for the battle system were fascinating, but ultimately were poorly developed and implemented. I feel that the combat had the makings of something truly great that they didn't take the time to flesh out and make deep enough.

^ This is largely how I feel. I desperately wanted to like this game, because it's potential for greatness was so obviously right bloody there, but I just couldn't overcome the gameplay.
Having said that, that was many years ago, and I'm much more patient and open-minded now.
I'm with them. Hell, they even have Vash the freakin' Stampede as one of the voice actors, and still it was a let down.
Both this game and Infinite Undiscovery were serious let downs.
