I remember the days of the internet that was always a given. These days I meet people on forums who were 5 when the Playstation came out and I'm like... I feel so old.

I'm biased due to circumstance to say SEGA. I simply never had any friends with a Nintendo system (or at least, none that mentioned it). My neighbour and some other friends had Megadrives (Genesis), though, and we would definitely get in on that action. Mortal Kombat, Sonic, Streets of Rage, Road Rash, Robocop vs. Terminator, Jurassic Park, X-Men, Toejam and Earl, Micro Machines, Ecco the Dolphin, Desert/Jungle Strike, Golden Axe, Kid Chameleon. I think that may actually be all the games I played on it, but I enjoyed them all, too, so...

EDIT: Dune II was released on Megadrive, too, and I actually remember it being surprisingly good for a console RTS.

    genesis doesn't.

e: i guess it'd be more accurate to say "genesis didn't". and even though that commercial was comparing the 16-bit genesis to the 8-bit NES it don't matta
