Do we have any C&C fans here? I smurfin' love C&C... well at least I did... until C&C4... which was horrid. Red Alert I can tolerate because it was always a bit corny but EA seem to be cranking the cheese factor up to max now.

Also Generals 2 - by the looks of things they've turned that into some sort of onlin battle arena game and not a thing with full fledged campaigns etc? :/

My favorite RTS series! Favorite entries being Red Alert 2, Westwood's last game, and Generals, EA's first game. There's really nothing else in gaming like the online RTS community.

I agree with how EA has cheapened the series. They missed the ball with Red Alert 3 that the scenes aren't supposed to be 100% intentionally made to be cheesy. That's only supposed to come off to the extent that it's a low budget production.

Also, they heard the backlash about Generals 2's non-campaign. They said something a long the lines of "that's part of why we're switching to the free to play model, so we can listen to our fans and iterate based on their feedback." I don't even know where to begin on that one.
