Zell's limit break being fun as all hell is all he's got going for him. Sabin could easily beat anyone from the Final Fantasy series in unarmed combat.

Josef wasn't even strong enough to hold a boulder for like 2 seconds. Sabin held up a collapsing house.

Also Josef held that boulder for at least 5+ seconds. He got in its way, held it, told the party to escape, they moved out of the way, and then he held it another second or two after that.
