Apparently Steve has a foot fetish, which led to us discussing feet, and foa telling us not to google 'diabetes feet.' Which led me to create this poll, because my mom and I always fight over the correct pronunciation.

Man. One of my lecturers at uni - an endocrinologist, of all things, which just made it worse - legitimately used "diabeetus". It hurt. Every time. And he talked about it a lot, being a damn endocrinologist. xD
More of a foot phobia. Let's be honest feet are vile disgusting things good for walking and kicking Paul in the balls with.

I was so determined to press the former as quickly as possibly that I didn't see how funny the last option was.
My brother has type-1 (so does most of his mother's family) so I like to say "diabeetus" just to bug him.
"Diabeetus" is correct if you're Wilfred Brimley. For everyone else, it's the former.
A friend of mine has type 2 OH LAWD MY BABY'S GOT THE SUGARS. It sucks knowing she can't have all the greatest foods in the world
