Christina Aguilera needs to take a chill. I used to be in awe of her vocal abilities, now it is just painful to listen to. I am not willingly listening to a relatively young woman completely destroying her own voice. Her recent performances have been bordering unlistenable. The Etta James funderal memorial, in particular.

But yeah Madonna needs to stop. It wouldn't be so bad if she grew as an artist... ever. But she's still trying to be the Material Girl and compete with the best of the slutty sluts on TV who are half her age. I hate the fame machine.

I'm not targeting Madonna because she's old. I'm targeting Madonna because she needs to stop. And in your very first post you said that you liked Taylor Swift's first album which suggests you think she is good enough to be in the industry. You also said you liked some of Pink's songs which suggest you think she's good enough to be in the industry. I thought this thread, therefore, was about people who may have been good at some point, but should have stopped because now it's all just the same old crap or all their new stuff is rubbish.
Madonna is the definition of the singer who was good but really, really should have quit some time ago. Or at least quit with all the gross "Look, I'm a pensioner who loves to wear minimal clothing and bare her tits" and learn how to adapt as she ages. >=|
