When I visited my older sis in London last summer, I heard a guy asking antoher guy if he wanted to "smoke a fag". I got a little nervous, but then realized where I was.
Let's talk about how everybody agrees on the fact that British is a weird branch of English.

I guess since I've been talking to English people since I was 15 years old, I don't really notice it, and I even use British words/slang when I talk. Every once in awhile someone will say something that will make me go, "Huh?" But usually I can figure out what it means by context.
