Oh boy I'm excited we started to get info on this. I will literally drop every other game I'm playing if the US version has the Dark Aeons.

Same. I will squeal with delight if we get the Dark Aeons and Penance.

And really, there's no reason we shouldn't this time around, seeing as Europe got them, so everything is already in English.

The remake of Final Fantasy X HD has emerged after a year of very little information. These screenshots were shown off at a Vita event in Japan showcasing upcoming titles for the struggling handheld platform.

They'll need to do more than a FFX HD update to increase sales on the Vita.

Anyways, it looks good, but I honestly don't care about the graphics. I just enjoyed 10 tremendously, and I want the Dark Aeons/Penance, so I'll likely be buying this eventually.

I really hope they update the game. I don't want a straight port; gimme some added features! The vita has a touchscreen doesn't it? Perhaps incorporate some Blitzball touchscreen moves or something, who knows?

It's pretty unlikely that it will have any changes except bug fixes and perhaps a few retouched textures.

Why do all the Americans want Dark Aeons/Penance for ? They were so damn annoying. You wanted to head back and journey back into old places and find the old Jecht Spheres and get Anima to summon but LOL NOPE Dark Shiva is in the friggen way ! If you're unprepared good friggen luck !

I don't think that I have ever gotten to summon Anima because it's so damn hard to back-track and get everything because of the Dark Aeons. I have killed some of them but I think in the end I got too annoyed to keep on going on....

They provided an interesting challenge, but my word was it a time sink getting there. Plus having to win that stupid balloon race which took days of frustration.
I think they should be optional at least, and should always have been optional.

The balloon race was the most terrible minigame ever concieved.

I'm normally a very gentle player and never get mad. Apart from this one minigame. I still have the teeth marks in my controller ><

Luckily you don't need to do it. You can beat Penance (and everything else) just fine without Worf

I just got the sigils for Auron/Wakka/Rikku/Yuna/Lulu, then made my own weapons for Meg Ryan/Tinky Winky. It honestly wasn't that hard, but I killed a LOT of arena creations for all the Dark Matter.
