Yeah, I see what mikecracker is saying here. When I was playing FFVII, my first reaction was, if Ruby and Emerald Weapons are so strong, why don't they just go beat Sephiroth? And yeah, it happens in most games where they have optional super bosses. It's like, This is the big bad guy, you will need all of your strength to defeat him, he is super powerful, this is the FINAL battle, a test of strength, a battle of wills. But that thing over there?
