The thing for me is, so many people these days give their kids stupid names that it's pointless being shocked by it anymore. The thing that bugs me about it though is that if you're going to give your kid a stupid name, why don't you at least give it a stupid name that is practical? Like 'Oi'. It works on every level.

"OI! YOUR DINNER IS READY!"
"OI! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!"
"OI! DON'T TALK TO YOUR MOTHER LIKE THAT!"
"OIIII! Happy Birthday!"

No one will ever convince me that Oi is not the best stupid name for a child. It just is.
