I remember my friend showing me this review and about thirty seconds in, the girl says something like, "Even if you never moderated a forum on Eyes on FF".

Not all of us have moderated around here, but most of us have been around a long time in and out, and in the spirit of reunion, did you realize that our little group, spanning over a decade, was mentioned on a third-rate television channel?

We should be very proud, I think. :3

This got me curious as to who wrote the review--X-Play's hosts would do the voiceovers, but they had a larger staff of writers who'd actually review the games and write out the scripts--so I did some Googling, and I think I know the guy who wrote it. Well, I "know" him through Twitter, which sort of counts. Going to see if he wrote it, and if he was ever a member here. That'd be pretty neat.

It's been a week and I'm still checking in to this thread. And it keeps on delivering.

Oh yeah. I hold grudges, like, forever. It's one of my favourite self qualities. I attempted to look for some of the pictures from the olden days, but seems to have been lost. I bet I still have them on a CD somewhere, though.

I was going to post a picture of us from the golden years, then a recent picture. A lot would have changed in a decade.

Edit: Found a quickcam picture that says it was created on "‎Thursday, ‎11 ‎October ‎2001, ‏‎12:11:00 PM" which was around the time I was on EoFF. If my memory serves me, I was actually talking to an international member at the time.



And then we have me circa 2012.

Wow what a great thread. Hadn't seen so many of those names in a loooooooong time. I may be tempted to post a before after picture like Robb. I was a youngin' when I joined this forum well over holy crap ten years ago. Did Linus pop in this thread at all? Wasn't he banned at some point?

I was always more of a chat guy and I pop in there from time to time. Just a bunch of crazy idlers anyway!

A guy named Michael Benson wrote the script for that review. Apparently he was a member here and was/is friends with Necronopticous, but I don't know what his username was.

The picture on the left is from Halloween 2012 at age 25 and the one on the right is me when I was about 16 in grade 10 I believe.
