A couple of years ago, I met up with a girl I had just been introduced to for drinks, a sort of casual date. She was a local science teacher (physics, IIRC), so at the start it was promising that we could make some sort of connection. We started out striking up a good conversation.
Then at some point she brought up her adamant Catholic anti-abortion stance, and, even worse, expressed outright shock that abortion was legal throughout the country.
