I don't really have an interest in making new friends in general, and most males stop talking to me once they figure out I'm married anyway.

Not all men who talk to you are trying to sleep with you, believe it or not. I just think someone who says they have no interest in making friends is a little sad, that's all.

Also, Bubba: being married and having a girlfriend tends to be a different thing in people's eyes.

There is no difference whatsoever. Apart from a ring and piece of paper, what actually changes? Are you implying that someone who merely has a girlfriend is more likely to cheat than if they were married?
