the chat has varying periods of activity. you either have to get lucky and get in there when people are talking, or just lurk in there all day

How about we try to not insult anyone and stick to not giving new forum members advice on who to insult in their welcome thread because that makes for a poor impression on EoFF?
Andio, I've seen you in the chatroom a few times - it's great that you're already being social! My advice would be to visit as many of our sub-forums as you can. You're welcome to make some blog entries to let people know a little more about the personal side of you, or whatever it is that you feel writing about that may not warrant it's own thread.
