I've played vanilla town about 11 times on EoFF now. it's the best role to improve your ability to find mafia, because you can't use your night action as a crutch.

Also I will keep my comments on mass roleclaiming to myself now because the dead are silent, and I am extra dead this game.

But if I must respond: Mafia. I don't know, I like the camaraderie that goes along with being in a small forum with a small group of people, fighting in vain against the huge numbers of the town. That, and a small part of me smiles when a town member goes "Yeah I don't think this guy is scum" when you clearly are! I like that sort of duplicity. Great fun.

I feel like you should maybe play a game in which you're not mafia before you make a decision on which you prefer. You don't really have any town experience to draw from. xP

My favourite ever role was daykill bulletproof vigilante. Probably a really broken role, but it was amazing. Every single fan of the "urrr Psychotic is talking! And, like, posting things! Lots of things! That MUST be scummy! *inane vote*" way of thinking got a bullet put in their brain and I went off on a scum slaughtering rampage without their "helpful" input.

One day EoFF mafia will learn it's what you say, not the way you say it. One day!

I was joking when I said being drunk while playing this game is a good idea. It is actually a pretty bad idea. Get well soon drunkards!

Also I prefer playing Vanilla townie. It allows me to play at the frequency I like to play with minimal effort up until the end when players are narrowed down. I hate being Mafia. I kinda want to be a ba-bomb.

Discussion now is turning into an episode of Lost. You've got the main fuselage survivors on one side (the originals) and then you have the tail end survivors who appear later in the series (The "four").

I am always so super bad at this game but I have fun playing. This time work was just too overwhelming. I was on and I read but I wasn't really devoting much time to thinking about what was going on =[ I was hoping work wouldn't be as bad as it was but live and learn on the week before release.

That said, I prefer investigative roles. Seeing as how I am so bad at most other aspects, getting an investigative role helps me a ton. I also prefer town as I am a God awful liar >.>
