I am high, and these pictures are scaring me.
It wasn't really scary, but a bloody interesting concept. Plus (SPOILER)9th Doctor's Genghis Khan line. God I miss his angry northern tones
But I have to admit that it was a great episode.
(SPOILER)For one, we finally get to see the pool and library inside the TARDIS! That final ten minutes were pretty good too.
And I think there's a glimpse of the last episode of this season, seeing that Clara found out about the Doctor's name. Buuuuuuut, we'll have to see about this when the episode airs!
(SPOILER)We only saw the swimming pool for like 4 seconds! I wanted more!
I wouldve prefered if the Tardis interior was slanty for the whole ep like it was in an episode of the early series but whatevs
Kefka's coming, look intimidating!
Have a nice day!!
Thought the episode was one of the best we've had in a while. I'm growing bored of episodes that don't further the overarching narrative in any meaningful way, but I've also never been a huge fan of shows that follow monster-of-the-week structures. I understand a lot of fans consider it tantamount to sacrilege, but I'm glad to see the show starting to head back toward the mystery around the Doctor's name and tying everything in to the story line with the Silence. It was a nice step forward, even if it was accompanied by a step backwards after.
Is the mystery towards the Doctor's name a thing, now? Is that what "Doctor Who?" is?
I liked the exploring the TARDIS and all the stuff in it and the scenes with the Doctor and Clara. It got all timey-wimey at the end, but I don't mind it when the show does that too much. Didn't like the salvage brothers, felt they were poorly written characters and the episode didn't really need them.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Given that at the end of last season they revealed that "The Question" was "Doctor Who?" and implied that revealing the answer could destroy the universe, I would most certainly say it is a thing now.
(SPOILER)There is the theory that what is dangerous about knowing the Doctor's real name is that by knowing it, you might be able to go back far enough in time to undo or otherwise manipulate the Doctor's timeline. Given the number of times that the Doctor has saved the universe, doing such could undue his future and thus the universe.
Good episode, though very much a set-up episode to the mystery of Clara, the importance of her to the Doctor, and a tie-in to the end of the season, as someone else pointed out.
I enjoyed it. Probably the best of the Clara episodes thusfar.
My favorite episode so far!
I loved it, plus since I have a thing for legs, and Damn does Jenna have a nice pair of them.
also was it just me or was i the only one that thought (SPOILER)that the monsters were the companions of old before we really understood who they were
anyway does anyone know if it's up on vudu yet?
My theory is The Doctor's name is Davros and he knows after his 12th regeneration he will go insane and create the Daleks.
Kefka's coming, look intimidating!
Have a nice day!!
