(SPOILER) I had thought maybe Rose, as she and Ten are confirmed back for the 50th Anniversary special.
I don't think it's Martha.
(SPOILER) I had thought maybe Rose, as she and Ten are confirmed back for the 50th Anniversary special.
I don't think it's Martha.
(SPOILER)That's a very good point actually. Why didn't I think of that earlier?
(SPOILER) I honestly don't think it's Rose. It might be, though. Who knows?
The interesting thing is that the phone on the TARDIS isn't supposed to work. And (at least in the new series, can't say for the old one) the only other time it's ever worked was when Rose was with Nine. And some creepy voodoo magic.
But again, I doubt it's her, really.
(SPOILER)It won't be any of the 10th Doctor's companions, they're done and dusted. The anniversary is just a special episode that will probably have little to do with the coninuity of this series. Also, I really don't think he has feelings for Clara. There'll be flirting - there always is - but I doubt it'll go beyond that.
hmm I brought up the anniversary episode just because Matt Smith said in some interview the entire season is leading up to that episode. I could've taken what he said the wrong way, though.
And no, I don't have a source. Just remember reading that recently.
Well personal thoughts on that episode was "more please!"
I have to say, I hope the character of Clara sticks around for some time yet, after all Jenna-Louise Coleman is the hottest actress we've had as a companion so far (Karen Gillan is hot but sadly not the hottest) plus it could make for a very interesting story arc in the future because obviously The Doctor knows someday, somehow Clara is going to end up as that Dalek. I'm wondering if we're witnessing another instance similar to River Song's character story. Which means we know the Doctor must leave Clara sometime in the 24th century onwards.
Time can be rewritten. We've already seen that. And when the Doctor met Clara in Asylum of the Daleks, she clearly states that it was the first time she'd been out in the world. (I guess she could've lied, but I don't feel that.)
Maybe that was a timeline that was changed. What she would've been if she'd never met the Doctor.
This is his past though the key point in all the Doctor Who story lines where time is re-written is that he is a fixed point in time, therefore his past cannot be changed. Or so that's the way River Song leaves it sounding.
Guy who plays Robb Stark dates Jenna-Louise Coleman. Time to lobby for a Doctor Who/Game of Thrones crossover episode.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
It may have been. Since it seems Rory and Amy's story is completely wrapped up. And I don't think they're coming back. Plus, Amy and Clara have no discernible connection to each other.
And I really don't think Clara is River. I hate that theory.
Clara = River is a theory? Shut up.
So, this tweet from the official DW Twitter made me happy: "The read through has just finished for the #DoctorWho50th Special!"
