Did you watch Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead? River Song's episodes won't make much, if any, sense if you haven't seen those, especially in series six.

Can't really blame you for starting with Eleven though. Make sure you go back and see Nine and the rest of Ten's episodes after you're caught up, though.
