    Default Your first CD

Well what was it!? do you still love it as much as you did then?

Mine was Green Day Dookie. I still listen to this album on a regular basis. I love this album and probably always will. I got the cassette way back when in 1994 then got the CD as soon as we had a CD player at home.

I can't really remember what my first cd was. It is kind of sad. It may have been a Yugioh cd I got from McDonalds in a happy meal or something. I listened to it once last year when I happened to find it again. It is fun to listen to for nostalgia's sake.

Outside of that, I think the first album I've ever owned/bought was Relient K's Two Lefts Don't Make A Right, But Three Do. It is still one of my favorite albums to this day, and I listen to it on a regular basis.

...Baby One More Time. I was ten, and I shrieked with glee for several minutes because I received it as a birthday present.

I -think- my first CD was Queen's Greatest Hits in 1992. That striking plum and gold cover, and Somebody to Love on loop. I remember being upset that Bohemian Rhapsody wasn't on the disc, but it was okay because I had the cassette.

Queen's Greatest Hits. I watched D2: The Mighty Ducks so many times, and would rewind it over and over again to listen to We Are the Champions, my dad eventually came home from a business trip with that CD for me.

Holy trout, never seen someone else say this. It's just about the best damn first album you could ever get, short of like Blood on the Tracks or Led Zeppelin on vinyl in the 70s.

Not quite sure now, might have been Up by R.E.M. - still a pretty good album, if in need of some trimming.

I think mine was Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex - also to show how old I am - it was on a cassette not a CD.

If we want to keep it to CDs then I think it was the Spice Girls first album.

I believe it was called "Trance Mega Traxx". There were several artists on it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden. I'm not as ashamed of that as I should be.

    The Lion King OST.

I still remember going to Costco and buying it.

It was 1994 and I was ten.
