I saw the Chili Peppers in 2005 and it was both the best concert and the best night of my life and it definitely lived up to my expectations.
I've been to so many shows that went above my expectations.
- the Yeah Yeah Yeahs blew me away because Karen O smurfing knows how to work a crowd
- fun. was so enjoyable because Nate Ruess gives off so much unbelievable energy
- Panic! at the Disco because again, Brendon Urie knows how to work the crowd. I went in not expecting much but I had such a great time.
- I don't think I've ever had a much fun as I did watching Gogol Bordello live. They had a plethora of dancing girls on the stage and everyone was crazy-dancing to insane gypsy music and everyone was in love and it was just all-around awesome.
- Death Cab for Cutie melted my heart the first time I saw them. The second time they were with that Magick Magick Orchestra and it was a nice addition, but smurfing Ben Gibbard threw a fit during my favorite song because the sound messed up and that kindof ruined it for me.
- Alkaline Trio has never failed to put on an amazing show. I always have so much fun moshing and somehow miraculously find good people to stand next to, they play all the songs I hope for and I just know I will have a good time.
I'm finally getting to see The Postal Service this weekend and I get to see Alkaline Trio tickets for the fourth time in June!
