Eeee, you saw The Postal Service, too!

I'm glad you saw J5, I saw them at their last concert (Auckland, 2008) and it was magical. I hope they go on a wider tour.
I keep meaning to make a post in this thread but it's a bit overwhelming.
Front row, yo.
The total lineup we saw were:
Blur, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Jurassic 5, How to Destroy Angels, Band of Horses, Local Natives, Of Monsters and Men, Stars, Foals, Dillion Francis, Youth Lagoon, Jamie xx, Jake Bugg, Postal Service, Sigur Ros, New Order, Hot Chip, Moby, Bat for Lashes, Major Lazer, Ben Howard, Janelle Monae, Allen Stone, Phoenix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Vampire Weekend, Wu-Tang Clan, Pretty Lights, Tame Impala, Lumineers, La Roux, James Blake, Jessie Ware, Moby. Maybe a few others who we heard from a distance and also some EDM artists who were playing in the Yuma tent and we didn't know their names.

That's so amazing! Do you know if Jenny Lewis was there?
She was! She and Ben Gibbard were dancing together the whole set.
aaaaaah I freaking lost my head when she came onstage! I'm glad you enjoyed the show; Coachella sounds really awesome.
here's Jenny dueting with Ben at the Las Vegas show I went to
and what the hell, here's such great heights
The best visual show I went to was an Alice Cooper concert in 2001.
The best musical concert was watching Roger Waters perform The Wall in it's entirety in 2010.
I've seen a lot of really awesome concerts but those two took the top.

last night I went to MS MR
MS MR - Hurricane (Official video) - YouTube

tonight i'm going to Anamanaguchi
Anamanaguchi - ?MEOW? (Official Music Video) - YouTube
you bet yo ass im tired but i will
Oh! I'm going to Anamanaguchi on the 30th, assuming everything goes well. I've never really listened to them before, though. I'm not sure if it will be my thing, but it'll be a fun, cheap concert regardless.
I saw black sabbath and then tenacious D this month. Black Sabbath weren't very good, but it was awesome just to see them play with Ozzy (before that I'd seen Ozzy play by himself and Black Sabbath with Dio). Tenacious D were awesome though, so smurfing hilarious, and I had a great night.
That's kinda sad.
Black Sabbath with Ozzy were awesome when I saw them in 2001.

jeeeezok so
i have some tips
pro tips
to divulge for this show
if you are not interested in being a part of the mosh pit that's going to form and devour everyone within the first 5-10 meters of the stage depending on venue
do not enter that area during the rush after the second opener
i had no idea so many people could crowd surf in such a small space at once

Thanks for the heads up. I would not have expected that at this venue, but I'll just stay off to the side and play it safe I guess.
