>>> FF3 is even worse.. I lost "key" items in that game..
Actually, just to chime in again. If my comrade died while wearing some powerful gear that would help me I would probably loot it off him before I moved on...
If I died I would hope my friends would take anything of value off me before moving on. I can't use it anymore.

Honestly, its not really such a big deal in this game. Largely because if you're playing anything beyond Origins version, then you know the game has one of the worst item management systems in the series. Why? because you have very limited space and Key Items can never be removed and their are a ton of them in this game so you ultimately end up having to ditch equipment quickly in this game. There are really no super special awesome items available in the early section of the game to cause this issue if you think about it except maybe the Blood Sword but that weapon will seem useless until the final dungeon, so its more likely you may accidentally toss it than give it away. This game really isn't so bad in this department, especially since three of your four party members stay with you consistently throughout the game. Its not like FFIV where you are playing party roulette all the time.
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
yeah well, at least it was the first big epic death scene
pisses you off though, because it's undermined by the loss of gil and equipment
