I'm now using it to reblog pictures of my celebrity girlfriends in outfits I want.

I enjoy tumblr, and it's quite fun if you can stay out of all the cattiness.
Mine is here, and it's mostly just a post-whatever-I-want deal with no clear unifying theme or purpose.
Not true. Anyone that is following you will see what you reblogged, so it's not just for yourself.
I'm also still trying to figure out tumblr, but for the most part, I think I understand it enough to get me hooked. I mainly stick with the fandoms I understand and stay away from the rest.
I CAN'T STOP REBLOGGING THINGS SOMEONE HELP ME
I've found some of the most amazing artwork and photography on tumblr that I doubt I'd have found anywhere else. Like any social networking site, it can be a cesspool of trout if you want to be negative about it.
I used to stick to primarily focus on ocean things and sea creatures and pictures of the sea, but just branched out to... anything ever that crosses my eye that I like, but "ocean" and "sea" are still my most-used tags.

Deja vu thread, but I'll use the chance to plug mine

This twenty-year-old boy was distinguished from childhood by strange qualities, a dreamer and an eccentric. A girl fell in love with him, and he went and sold her to a brothel...
My main Tumblr.
I try to post original writing on there, but I've become somewhat of a reblog machine. I try not to spam (believe me, there are worse spammers than me).
Like a lot of people, Tumblr intimidated me at first. I also had the idea that I was using it ironically somehow, and was all like, "pfft LJ > here." But after a while, I got used to it and ended up enjoying being there.
I use tumblr as the hosting site for my website's blog. A lot of people use tumblr so it allows for greater visibility. Statistics show me that I get more views on my website through tumblr and Youtube than Behance or Vimeo.
I should try it. But then again I use this very website as my tumblr really.
There I followed you bitches. Well not the babekeepers ones, sometimes I worry proto. Also sorry pike, those tumblrs so so... niche?
Here's mine. I haven't used it in a bit though.
In my experience, Tumblr is just a den of transethnic gandalfthegreysexual otherkin support groups calling people troutlord, fighting the kyriarchy with their terribad CSS, and other social justice wank.
