The noise had stirred her sleep, and for once it had been peaceful. No Reavers had etched inside of her brain and jumped out at her from all corners. She felt like a child with nightmares, never able to vocalise the pain she endured each night, whilst the others slept in their own bunks with dreams moderatley untouched by demonic faces and not being able to fight back because of the big chair that's strapped to your tensing muscles as you fear what's coming for you. "Enough." She said as the voices that screamed, sang, yelled, spoke, and whispered got too much. She made her way forward to were her friends where. She plopped down into a squatting position, watching as some strange Mexican boy started peacocking his way around the Serenity - her home. At least for now. She knew it was only a matter of time until the Reavers or the Alliance caught up to this old boat, which quite frankly, was falling apart.
She sat in silence, only moving to drop her legs between the bars surrounding the ledge, she tried to push her head between them too, muttering "Too small, too big... too much silence and space in here.."
Then...
She licked the bar.
Her eyes darted around the room frantically in a cartoonish manner before she finally set her gaze upon Vivi22. He was wearing a a bloody stupid hat. She raised an arm between the bars and pointed a finger right him and spoke directly to him; "Jayne is a girls name." She then picked herself up and scampered off.
