Dude, I'm not even disagreeing with you that she's a great character. I've said repeatedly that I don't know, as I'm hardly a fraction into the series, and what I've seen so far hasn't impressed me. I think her acting is great; I'm not criticizing that at all. So please, I'd appreciate it if you laid of the insults, thanks.

I've already stated that I'm open-minded enough about her character to acknowledge that she might be very awesome later on, especially if she does something memorable.
Even if he weren't joking, stating someone is wrong or using a bit of sanity based hyperbole aren't really what I'd call insults.

Can someone please explain to me all the Chinese going on in this show? Is there some big reveal later, and I need to calm my horses, or...? I'm seriously confused.
Why the use Chinese or what they're saying? Because they curse in Chinese, so I don't think it would add a whole lot to know exactly what they're saying. It is funny as hell though.I know you don't.

edit: I guess I should clarify in case people have misunderstood. I thought we could do this like Game of Thrones where we do one episode a week and come here to talk about it. If you can't do it on the day chosen (Saturday) then watch it when you can (but don't jump ahead of everyone).

I'm still not 100% on everyone's name. (I think I know most of them, though). The pilot...Wash? What else has he been in? I know I've seen him in stuff before.
He's really cute.
There is not one character in Firefly that I don't like.
That's because they are all likeable.
Everyone will speak Chinese in the future because China will own everyone and everything.
