Final Warning Mullet.
I've had enough of him being uppity. I say we skip the final warning and ban him.
Never actually got around to playing Shenmue though. But the mere existense of Crazy Taxi is proof enough that Mulley needs to go.
Actually, the Dreamcast was when finally Sega got things right. Too bad they scared off a lot of consumer support by then, along with the fact that a lot of people were waiting for the PS2.
Still, the anti-aliasing of that machine was amazing. No one even came close back then.
I did enjoy Shenmue, yes. But it also made quick time events much more popular, which I absolutely hate, because quick time events are practically all that 80% of games nowadays are![]()

My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
I haven't even played Shenmue but Aulayna is right.
everything is wrapped in gray
i'm focusing on your image
can you hear me in the void?
Can't blame other people for misusing QTEs, because Shenmue did them right.

I'm pretty sure Jet Grind Radio/Jet Set Radio is the best Dreamcast game.
I'm not even sure how well you can compare them, JSR is amazing and you can screw around so much but you can also just play for ten minutes. Shenmue is a massive investment of time if you want to really enjoy it and get something out of it. Honestly much as I love Shenmue, JSR probably is the better game - Shenmue needed polish and refinement (which it got to some extent with II) to figure out what works and it probably gets forgiven a lot of its sins by people like me for everything it did right and for being so special.
Jet Set/Grind Radio, meanwhile, might not have been quite as revolutionary (though still a pretty unusual game) but it simply doesn't have any sins.
Top DC games in descending order.
Skies of Arcadia, Soul Caliber, Power Stone, and Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
I'll see myself out.![]()
