smurf.Slayer honestly haven't done anything good in a long time but this is still really troutty news. Their best material is genre-defining classics.

Reign in Blood is one of the albums that got me into metal when I was younger. I suspect that if I hadn't been exposed to Slayer's music at such a young age I would never have gotten into some of the even heavier stuff I listen to now. Their first six releases are still close to peerless thrash.
I thought he got bit by a spider and was having complications from that.
Bunch of metal bigots, going straight to the drugs/alcohol.
Never been much of a Slayer fan at all but I know he was much better a guitarist and writer than Kerry King though.
Bad times.

I forgot that spider bites can sometimes lead to liver failure. But alcohol probably didn't help either
