What if this game had've been on PS1?
We always here the argument of how good FFIX would've been if it had've been on the PS2. (And then the thread with all those high res HD pics help prove that point!)
So what would've happened with FFX if they chose to make FFIX a PS2 game, and made FFX a PS1 game?

No voice acting. The laughing scene would have been less awkward (for those who hate that scene) and we wouldn't have to listen to Seymour's absolutely terrible monotone.

It would look a lot different for sure. Pre-rendered still image environments, and everything text-based. Also the FMVs would have all been terrible quality and ran at 15fps. I think it still would have been a great game though.
I've always wished some dedicated fan out there would remake the game for an SNES emulator in FFVI's engine. Can you imagine how the whole scene of Sin blowing away the crusaders and the al bhed would have been in 16-bit 2D? Glorious.

It's an objective fact that FFX is a better game than FFIX.
You may like IX better than X sure. That's fine and dandy. However, this doesn't change aforementioned fact.

Sorry, but everyone with a brain who is not completely insane knows that FFIX is objectively better than FFX by virtue of being absolutely nothing like FFX.
