SO many... In no particular order -

Ditto Inner Light and Measure Of A Man
    The Royale
    Peak Performance
    Where Silence Has Lease
Best of Both Worlds (of course)
Chain of Command .... THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS

And of course any Q episode.

Edit - honourable mention to the one with the Tamarians

Yeah The Measure of a Man is amazing. Yesterday's Enterprise and The Offspring are a double-whammy of great episodes that Pike and I just watched. The Best of Both Worlds. The Inner Light. The Defector. The Survivors. All Q episodes; all Borg episodes.

TNG is pretty cool, but Deep Space Nine is easily the best written Star Trek series gotta love that ongoing storyline, rather than the fragmented nature of TNG.

There are some classics that are atop everyone's lists, such as The Inner Light, Chain of Command, etc.

Two of my personal favorites are the Measure of a Man and the Drumhead. There are others, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. But TNG and Picard in particular are at their best when the show's allegorical, and those two episodes are two prime examples.

Lot of good episodes mentioned. Bit disappointed no one brought out The Drumhead until Raist came along. It's probably even more relevant now than it was when it aired.

I love both shows. DS9 got great once the writers said "Holy trout Babylon 5 is kicking our asses we gotta get it together", and they did. I think TNG's best episodes are better though, as Raist says TNG is at its best when it's being allegorical (and when it's Picard destroying people who think they can defy Picard) and some of those episodes are absolutely sublime.

My boyfriend and I started watching TNG together after seeing the most recent movie. We're partially into season 3 now. We made a drinking game this weekend. A few instances that require us to take a shot include:

    Bridge is shaking
    Jean Luc Picard is French
    Data makes a face
    Jeordi eye joke
    "set phasers"
    Wesley apologizes

I became a fan of the franchise through Star Trek Voyager when I was a little kid. I remember seeing bits and pieces of TNG and DS9 before that, but didn't get really into it until I saw Voyager. My mom was a pretty big DS9 fan back when it was on and she saw every episode, I kinda regret not watching it with her looking back. Oh well.

I enjoyed all of the series and most of the movies. I currently have TOS Season 1 and 2, the best of TOS and TNG DVDs, the first five movies of Star Trek, First Contact and the two reboot movies. Played some Star Trek Online and has one PS2 game called Encounter. Still to this day I can never decide on which Starfleet uniform I'd want to wear if given the choice.

Loved Voyager when I was a kid. It aired every saturday at 17:00. I would usually do the groceries for my mom in town first, and then rush home on my bike to watch the next exciting adventure of Janeway and her crew.

I recently rewatched the 'Scorpion' episodes and I'm like ugh what is this trout. And I think those are some of the best episodes in the series

can't decide on a fave between TOS, TNG and DS9. Love them all. I'm amused how many of us are watching TNG right now. Hux and I are almost done with season three.

    I have seen it.

All of it. (TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, All the movies)

    (thousand year stare)

Oh, and I put on Wrath of Khan to go to sleep, so I've probably seen it over 200 times, most of them half while I was sleeping.

I need to rewatch this show. I started back in May, but didn't continue.

Did I show you guys this? The Vulcan salute was my idea.

There was a woman there who was so impressed that little kids were familiar with original Star Trek (this was the early 90s) that she followed us into the parking lot to talk about it.
