Those graphics are immense and it looks like it has a lot of smurfing power to it. Will wait and see price points and what exclusives the One/PS4 have before making my decision. Don't think there's anything to really separate the two yet.
The most important aspect of this conference seemed to me was that it was all about the TV.

Yeah the graphics were super impressive. But I'm not sure if it was from actual gameplay or not? If it was from the actual gameplay, though, wow.
Now if only we can get more than Call of Duty and sports games!

They will have to pay royalties to the Bluray consortium or whatever they're called. Sony is part of that, but not the only company.

Although honestly RIP in peace GameStop ever since they decided to stop taking PS2 game tradeins next month
Purely speculating here but I can see it working the way PC games have for nearly the past decade except the CD Key will be on the game disc itself and become authenticated to the first account that plays it.
Then judging by what they are hinting at with reselling or trading used games you could use an option to revoke the authentication key and trade it in against a new digital download or sell it on the XBL marketplace and I imagine the publishers will probably get a cut of any resales etc.
If that's how it works then I'd be all for it really. These days I can rarely buy a disc copy of a PC game without having to authenticate the bloody thing through Steam or Origin and I often wish I could gift or trade my used licenses to friends elsewhere in other countries etc so if Microsoft are actually looking at a way of facilitating that with this authentication system (which likely also explains why EA is scrapping it's Online Pass thing as it makes such publisher enforced DRM unncessary) - then that actually excites me.
Anything that means I have to buy two copies of the game so Danielle and I can both log in and enjoy the game on the single console is balls and I'm not interested in any way whatsoever. Steam is rubbish for this in particular. You don't notice it when you're single, but I love console games because Danielle and I can both play them on our seperate accounts or in split-screen multiplayer without issue.
Steam games? No chance.
