Wound Potions were a little too easy to use, I'd give them a bit of a penalty (probably make them take more time to execute).
And I do agree that wounding your enemy is pretty much useless (Platinum Trophy, never used Wound damage as a mechanic once). But then, Final Fantasy has a pretty long history of debuffs being pretty much useless against your foes, so I'm kind of used to it (even if most of the debuffs are actually really useful against foes in this game).
The system isn't perfect, but I think with some tweaking, it has a ton of potential. I'd like to see it used more often, and adjusted to have a greater effect.
And we could certainly boost Wound's wound damage, and introduce more enemies who heal themselves to make it more useful as an offensive mechanic for the party.
