PART I: THE CAMPAIGN

THE SETTING
Sean F. Kennedy, President of the Unites states of EyesonFF, our president, has been shot and killed. Assassinated, if you will. Any truly concerned EoFFer would ask, "Whodunit?!" I'll answer you, good citizens. It was none other than the treasonous villain himself, Bleys Harvey Oswald.

Sean, loved and revered by all, founded our glorious domain and as such he came into his role as president without much ado. However, towards the end of his all-too-short life, he declared that in his absence, EyesonFF needed to select their leaders democratically.

Although his death was emotionally charged with spammer and moderator alike, many speculate this as the leading reason for the chaos that broke out following his demise. Gangs began to form, calling themselves parties, each one declaring their own group to be the destined leaders to bring Eyeson the glorious future it was looking for.

THE SITUATION
It is up to you, Eyes on Final Fantasy. You good people will decide who our next president and reigning party will be. Who will make it to the top? Who will fall from glory? Who will be lost to the rat race, forgotten in the dust behind everyone else? You will decide who is worthy of leadership among these times of turmoil and despair as we mourn for our beloved leader, Sean F. Kennedy, god rest his soul.

For the candidates, this will not be all fun and games. This will be a test of morale, a test of loyalty, a test of your intentions. You will be pushed to your breaking point, all before the eyes of the scrutinizing public. These are politics, people. Are you worthy enough? Do you have what it takes? Can you dig it?

THE TASKS
Tasks will be issued often and when you least expect them. Depending on how you complete your tasks, you may earn campaign funds in the amount of gil for your party. Sometimes these gil amounts will be disclosed beforehand, sometimes they may not. A campaign needs funding, does it not? The purpose of gil will be disclosed at a time later than now. Remember! Your performances will be observed by the public. How well you complete these tasks will determine whether or not folks want to vote for your party.

New party tasks for Part I will be updated in this thread. The first task for your party is listed below.

Eyes on FF Final Fantasy Cast Task:
In theme with the threads popping up around the forums early this year, you are to assume a Final Fantasy alias. Everyone in the party must do this. The more obscurely mis-matched your aliases from the different games are, the better. Post in this thread to call dibs on your character! Once someone has chosen an alias, it cannot be chosen by another person.

Rules:
- If your character opposes another character in one of the Final Fantasy games, start a fight with the member who has that alias.
- If your character has no opposing characters, start a fight with someone anyway. Double-teaming is acceptable, even encouraged.

If you have any questions, you may direct them to my special filing cabinet, which can be found in the closest trashcan in your vicinity.
