Hi everyone, I am a 24-year-old French gamer. I discovered this series when I was a young child, as my older brother bought Final Fantasy VI through import and played it for hours on end. Of course back then, I understood nothing about the game he wouldn't tell me in the first place. After that I caught a very short, very small glimpse of VII when he borrowed it. Later, he bought VIII and this is where I started playing. Yet VIII, though full of good stuff, is far from my favorite (thus I break the "your first is always your best" stereotype). I continued to follow the series up to and including XII, after which I couldn't keep up with Sony's systems any longer.

For those wondering about my username, it's a reference to Swedish band Dark Tranquillity (yes, that is in fact the correct spelling). Fairly hard-edged stuff.
