High-level magic is obviously a favorite choice, and Holy and Meteor are probably my favorites. I tend to stick with Shiva/Ice magic as a favorite element, though, and watching those huge Blizzaga ice shards form and shatter is completely satisfying. (FFVIII magic referenced in this post.)
