Anybody buying the remaster just for X?
I am. FFX is one of favorite rpgs ever, but I just can't stand X-2. I don't know what went wrong in the game but I'm not playing that again. I'm just gonna replay X and not touch X-2. The story just sucked for me. I Was wondering if there was anyone else out there like that. What about you guys?

Oh no! I love them both. I need to buy a PS3 or vita first but I will definitely be buying it for both games!
I'm in it for FFX... I'll probably play FFX-2 again, but it's not the main event for me! If only they had followed through with their initial idea for X-2 -- a prequel documenting Braska's journey...

I'll play FFX-2 again but I'm 99% buying it for FFX.
I think putting a $40 price tag on an HD release of just FFX alone would be a bit absurd, so I'm glad X-2 is being included. I'll be buying it mainly for FFX and its international content, yes, but X-2 is certainly welcome in my eyes as well.
Definitely looking forward to replaying X, it's been too long.
That being said I also look forward to replaying X-2 which has immense amounts of replay value for me. In fact, I'm ~160 hours into a game file I started about a month or two ago and I'm still looking forward to starting from scratch. Creature Create is so much fun.
Nope. FF10-2 has much better gameplay so I'll probably end up playing that the most.

I am 100% buying it only for X. If there was a way to delete X-2 off the disc and not have to have it anywhere near me, I would.

For me, X-2 is the perfect example of how a Final Fantasy game can have a main plot that is mediocre at best, but still have a very rich world filled with good sidestories (I liked exploring how Spira's changed since X) and - due to its amazing gameplay - being just a lot of fun to play.
I'm with Kari on this one. In case you didn't figure that out already.
