My New Signature

So this is the first time I've made a signature in a while and was looking for feedback. I also made a rounded edge version of it:



Do you think the grainy/rough texture is too dark on it?

The square edge definitely works better, but that may be because the border stroke seems to have overlay or some other blending option on it, and is a bit nicer to look at (also the faded corners in the rounded sig are very distracting). I really like the background and colour scheme, it works well (so no, the grainy rough texture works well imo). My only suggestion is possibly the size, there's a lot of space in the middle and the stock seems almost small and out of the way because of this. I understand it's hard when you have a lot of text to fit in though, and I will have similar problems quite often.

Overall a really good sig condidering you said you've not done one in a while.
