New Opening Scene Screenshots from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
For fans of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, June 2013 is an exciting month. Phase 3 of the beta version will be starting on June 14 and tomorrow E3 will kick off, which should include lots more juicy FFXIV details (at the very least, we’ve been promised another Live Letter and more limit break info).
One of the biggest changes in beta phase 3 of A Realm Reborn is the addition of new areas and content. Players will no longer be confined to Gridania and its surrounding areas, and instead will be able to begin their adventures in Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa. Over at the developer’s blog, one member of the dev team has posted some screenshots from the opening scenes from these two new areas.

And, for good measure, there was also this screenshot of a moogle getting drunk from the Gridania opening sequence:
Who’s looking forward to checking out how Eorzea was remade in these areas for A Realm Reborn? If you played during 1.0, which of these cities was your favorite?
